Fetan Technologies is opening 85 part-time marketer positions across 8 Ethiopian cities. You introduce Fetan SMS to merchants in your area, and you earn commission on every client who signs up with your referral code.

ETB per month
What an active marketer can earn part-time. Earnings are commission-based and depend on how many merchants you sign up, so what you make is a result of the work you put in.
Work around your schedule
No fixed office hours. Most marketers work evenings and weekends, visiting shops and businesses in their own neighbourhood.
Paid-for training
We train you at no cost: video lessons you watch on your phone, plus support from your city lead. You keep your own referral code afterwards.

What a Fetan SMS marketer does
- Visit shops, pharmacies, restaurants and small businesses in your city.
- Show the owner how Fetan SMS turns their bank deposit SMS into instant Telegram alerts for their team.
- Help them install the app and start their free trial using your referral code.
- Stay in touch with the merchants you signed up so they keep using it.
- Report to your city lead, who supports you and tracks your progress.
What we look for
- You live in, and know, one of the cities listed above.
- You own an Android phone and can use it confidently.
- You are comfortable approaching business owners and explaining a product.
- You can commit to the two-week training and are contactable by phone.
- A valid ID, and a CV if you have one. No prior sales experience is required.
From application to your first commission

Apply online
Fill in the short form with your name, phone number and city, and attach your ID or CV. We verify your phone number with a code by SMS.

We review your application
Your city lead reviews every application. If you qualify, you are approved and placed in the next training group for your city. We send you an SMS either way.

Two weeks of training
Sign in with your phone number and work through the video lessons at your own pace, plus a short assessment at the end. Training is free.

Get certified and receive your referral code
Pass the training and you become a certified Fetan SMS marketer with your own referral code. Merchants enter it when they sign up.

Start earning
Every merchant who signs up with your code is tracked to you. Hit your target and your code is renewed with a discount to offer new clients. Your earnings and progress are visible in your portal at any time.
Before you apply
Is there any cost to apply or to train?
No. Applying is free, training is free, and we will never ask you for money at any stage. If anyone asks you to pay for a Fetan Technologies position, it is not us — please report it through our contact page.
Is this a salaried job?
No. This is a part-time, commission-based position: you are paid for the merchants you bring, not for hours worked. It suits students, people with another job, and anyone who wants to earn on their own schedule.
How is the 10,000–25,000 ETB figure calculated?
It is the range an active marketer can reach once they are working steadily and meeting their monthly target. It is not a guarantee — a marketer who signs up few merchants earns less. Your exact commission rate is explained during training, before you commit to anything.
What if my city is already full?
Positions close when a city reaches its limit. Check the table above for live availability — places reopen when marketers move on, so it is worth checking back.
How long does the review take?
Your city lead usually reviews applications within a few days and assigns approved applicants to the next training group. You will get an SMS with the outcome and, if approved, your training start date.
